SUMMARY:KC Design Week | Innovative Spaces in School Design
DESCRIPTION:For many students\, the"one size fits all" approach to education commonly found in U.S. schools simply does not work. Curriculums that instill a 4-year degree as the only path to success\, and ignore the natural aptitude of each individual will inevitably allow many students to fall through the gaps. \n\nThe Missouri Innovation Campus is one of the many schools reinventing how to not only better prepare students for their careers\, but to give them a massive head start. Join us on a tour of their space to learn about their nationally recognized innovative curriculum\, and how they partnered with Gould Evans to create unique learning spaces to support it. Photos by Michael Robinson.\n\n\nVaccination & Mask Requirement\n\n\n\nThis is an in-person event. Attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination\, along with proof of identification. We will limit access to those who have either had a full primary dose of the vaccine in addition to the most recent booster shot OR have received their full primary vaccination within the past 6 months (thus rendering them ineligible for the booster until more time has passed).\n\nKC Design Week also requires masks be worn for all indoor events and for outdoor events where adequate social distancing is not possible.\n\nWe will monitor local mandates and recommendations and apply them where required at our various events. Updates to these attendance requirements could be made up to 24 hours in advance of the event starting time.
