The Liquor | Intro to JavaScript
\n\nJoin us for our monthly coding series\, Coding &\; Cocktails. Women are invited to attend sessions to get an introduction to website building in a fun\, laid-back atmosphere.
\n\nWe'\;ll build a programming foundation covering some of the basics like variables and data types. We'\;ll talk about what JavaScript is and why it is important to front-end developers along with how to incorporate JavaScript into a website. Like the liquor in a cocktail\, JavaScript brings the extra "\;oomph"\; that the web needs to function. We'\;ll practice working with JavaScript with support from our awesome mentors!
\n\nThere will be lots of guidance and support for those with no coding experience so come join the fun!
\n\nNo coding experience necessary (we mean that!)
\n\nWifi-enabled laptop is required. Don'\;t have one? Request to borrow one of ours when you sign up. (Sorry\, Chromebooks are not supported.)
\n\nMust be at least 21 to attend
