Crunchy Data
Elizabeth Garrett Christensen is an expert in PostgreSQL and works at Crunchy Data. Elizabeth’s role at Crunchy Data is primarily in Postgres and SQL education and advocacy and she writes blogs, tutorials, documentation, and frequently speaks at developer events. Crunchy Data has products both in relational databases and recently added products in the data analytics space. She is on the board of the United States PostgreSQL Association, is an organizer for the Kansas City Postgres User Group, and co-hosts PostGIS Day, an event for open-source geospatial databases.
Lyndsay Noble, Program Director for Analytics

Lyndsay Noble is a strategic data and analytics leader with nearly 20 years of experience utilizing data science, machine learning, and AI to solve complex business problems. She is self-employed, providing insights and developing actionable plans to drive revenue and margin growth for businesses. Noble has a proven track record in creating data-driven solutions and organizational structures, mentoring teams, and delivering research briefs at industry conference presentations. She is adept at making complex algorithms understandable and actionable for business leaders.
Elizabeth Brown, Data Science and Machine Learning Manager
Shamrock Trading Corporation
Elizabeth Brown is a skilled Data Engineer with over two years of experience at Shamrock Trading Corporation, where she has recently been promoted to serve as the Data Science and Machine Learning Manager. Leveraging her skills in data curation, data science, machine learning, and data engineering, she has collaborated with the Strategic Analytics and Data Science teams to implement data integrations enriching business data that aligns with stakeholder objectives. Previous data roles utilized a wide array of cloud-based technologies and backend services. Her background also includes significant roles in data governance and process engineering.
Matt Copple, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Playhaus
Matthew Copple has “loved the smell of data in the morning” since he built his first database in high school. He is co-founder and CEO of Grand River Analytics LLC and co-founder and CTO of Playhaus, applying 25 years of technology and leadership experience to building modern analytics platforms and SaaS products. In KCWIT, he is better known as “Tamara’s husband,” and has mentored at numerous DjangoGirls and DjangoFest events. He is also a community organizer for the Kansas City Python Meetup group. When he isn’t busy with his business and technology pursuits, Matt enjoys visiting museums, researching and visiting little-known American Civil War battlefields, readying everything he can get his hands on and traveling with his wife.
