Leadership Live: Personal Leadership Brand
Instructor: Skip Gast, Vice President of Human Resources (Retired, Black & Veatch)1
Leaders with a strong professional brand are generally more impactful, influential, and effective in their roles. To help develop the brand statement, you will take the Strengths Finder assessment to identify your top five strengths. The completion of the Strengths Finder assessment will provide insights about yourself as an individual leader and the strengths you bring to the job every day. Having a better understanding of how your brand impacts your interactions with others can help you be a better leader. Having an understanding of how you are viewed by others can help you as a leader connect and create economic value, which all leaders should do through their role.
You'll learn to:
- Appreciate the importance and impact of a leadership brand.
- Understand your personal strengths and evolve your personal brand.
- Identify the gaps in your leadership skills.
- Develop a brand statement.
- Leverage a leadership brand to impact your customers, employees and your organization.
