Reformed + Reskilled Panel Discussion
A panel discussion on unlocking tech career opportunities for the formerly incarcerated.
Learning to code means unlocking a world of opportunities, and for the formerly incarcerated, these opportunities are vital to workforce reentry. But making the connection between returning citizens and employers in need of tech talent means addressing and reversing the stigma around reentry. And with over 3,500 open tech jobs in the Kansas City region, companies can’t afford to turn away technologists with the skills to succeed.
On December 10, join us as we bring together workforce reentry experts, community advocates, prison education providers and business leaders for a dialogue around training, hiring and empowering returning citizens. It takes many voices to spark change and we hope you’ll lend yours to this important conversation!
