As government organizations respond to the pandemic, many public sector agencies have experienced spikes in demand as constituents apply for assistance and seek government services. Technology is an important avenue for efficiencies and cost optimization, but IT leaders throughout the country need to be creative in how they fund their initiatives.
Fortunately, state and local governments have an opportunity to remedy these concerns through the $150 billion Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF). As part of the CARES Act, the CRF may be used to cover all reasonable expenses related to COVID-19, including the purchase of necessary IT solutions to support the security and productivity of staff working from home.
Join Tanium and Presidio to provide a clearer understanding of the CARES Act’s division of funds, uses, and timelines which organizations can take advantage of to fund strategic initiatives, including technology implementations.
