The Artemis Initiative

Attend from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. OR 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The Artemis Initiative will empower the workforce of the future by planning, training, and educating job seekers on future state technologies and the evolution of jobs and the labor market. Collaborators include Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas, the robotics and A.I. firm York Exponential, Fortress Initiative, and Fortress Academy.
We believe that the 4th Industrial Revolution has begun and poses an existential threat to our most vulnerable populations. The intent of this event is to show how we can, and why we must, prevent job seekers from being left behind. All those with the will and desire to work can become economically self-sufficient alongside these emerging technologies.
At the event, you will see examples of the possibilities for augmenting the human experience, including collaborative robots, autonomous vehicles, and mixed reality applications. You will experience how technology can be ethically intertwined with everyday job functions for disadvantaged workers to create truly integrated employment opportunities.
This is an invitation-only event for elected officials, community leaders, venture capitalists, philanthropists, media partners and Goodwill leaders from across the country.
A big thank you also to our event sponsors the Keystone Innovation District and Tesseract Ventures. We look forward to seeing you and thank you for your support.
