UCM Fall 2024 Computing Careers & Internships Fair
UCM is currently in search of employers interested in participating in the fall Computing Careers & Internship Fair! With over 3,000 students in its Computer Science, Cyber Security and CIS programs, this event is the perfect opportunity to add to your tech talent pipeline. If interested, please reach out here.
The UCM Fall 2024 Computing Careers & Internships Fair is an excellent way to connect with employers looking to hire UCM students for both internship and full-time opportunities. Students are encouraged to attend, regardless of class status. Underclassmen will find this event to be beneficial as it will provide an outlook on the job market as well as a chance to network. Juniors and Seniors can inquire about full-time or internship opportunities.
Prepare for the fair checklist
- Have your resume reviewed by the Career & Life Design Center located in Ward Edwards 1200
- Bring multiple copies of your resume to handout to employers
- Complete/update your Handshake profile
- Upload your resume into Handshake and make it visible to employers.
- Download the Handshake App
- Scan the QR codes at the employer tables, this will give you a list of everyone you spoke with at the fair and automatically send them a copy of your resume.
- Dress code for the event is business casual, (polo shirt, slacks, nice shoes, belt)
- Visit the Professional Clothing Studio and visit our Walk-In Studio Experience (W.I.S.E) Monday-Thursday 12:30-4:30 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. - Noon, check-in at the Career & Life Design Center located in Ward Edwards 1200.
