Adjunct Faculty, Information Systems

Job Summary

Adjunct position to teach courses in the Information Systems & Technology programs such as Fundamentals of Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Networking, Security, Servers, and Databases.

Must be able to pass a background check and complete Virtus training.

Responsibilities:

• Teach 16-week courses in the AY 2022-23 (day and/or evening courses).
• Submit daily attendance via the learning management system (Canvas).
• Submit midterm and final grades via the learning management system (Canvas).
• Communicate with students in any modality (hybrid, online, face-to-face) Qualifications
• Philosophically aligned with mission and values of the College to fully support and participate in our Catholic identity, practicing Roman Catholic preferred.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related field.
• Teaching experience at the college-level.
• Willing to develop innovative teaching strategies.
• Committed to diversity and serving a diverse population.
