Application Support Analyst II
This position is based out of the NAIC’s Kansas City, MO office. This is a full-time hybrid-remote position, in a positive and flexible environment. Residency within 100 miles of the Kansas City, Missouri office is required, along with in-office work as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify and correct data problems, and work with the team to identify root causes of issues. Coordinate efforts to resolve system wide issues, including communication to users, keeping staff up to date and working with developers and other resources on resolutions.
- Initiate development of tools and procedures for customer support including web services. Develop training procedures and leads programs to train customers and new hires.
- Maintain log of tickets and customer information. Alert staff of actual or potential issues. Identify trends and share with programming teams and management. Propose support solutions to resolve issues.
- Lead department efforts to produce and maintain detailed and accurate documentation on supported applications, assisting in their development, distribution, and maintenance.
- Provide support for other departmental efforts in training, customer events, testing and implementation.
- Assist in testing all facets of supported applications including application releases and hardware or software upgrades or changes. Provide detailed documentation of results in production and lower environments.
Management Responsibilities
This position does not have direct reports.
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Experience
- Typically has a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of position related progressive professional, individual contributor experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification in technical support and/or customer service is preferred.
Systems & Technology Requirements
- Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to update complex SQL queries.
Travel Requirements
Must be able and willing to travel to locations throughout the United States and with such frequency as necessary to meet the needs of this position and the Association.
Compensation
Salary offer range is $44,927 - $65,000, commensurate with experience and education.
