Summary

The App Development Analyst I is responsible for application analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, maintenance, and technical/software support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works directly with business customers and technical team on assigned requests.
  • Performs functional tests/demonstrates understanding of how functionality supports business processes.
  • Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code for assigned features which may include Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) configurations.
  • Collborates with technical team to improve product’s functionality.
  • Participates in code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practice fundamental Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
  • Stays up to date with application releases, adjacent relevant technology, and industry best practices.
  • Contributes to knowledge sharing and documentation.
  • Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities.

You Must Have

  • Bachelors degree, certification, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors or certification
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

  • Functional proficiencies in the following languages and applications (i.e., SQL, Python, HTML, JAVA) 
  • Industry knowledge of manufacturing, government, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)
  • Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training
  • Windchill experience is highly preferred (management, architecture, Integrations, etc.
  • Core competencies in the following languages and application (MuleSoft API Development, PowerShell scripting, ThingWorx, Windows Server Administration, SQL, Python, HTML, JAVA, GitLab)
