Director of Marketing

Artisan Technology Group is looking for an empathic, strategic, and action-oriented Director of Marketing to build and execute a marketing and content strategy for our fast-growing services business.

This role will report to the Chief Revenue Officer. The role is a key member of the Artisan Leadership Team and will work closely with Sales, Solution Delivery and Recruiting to support our long-term growth.

The primary goal for this role is to dramatically improve Artisan’s brand awareness and lead generation through the execution of various marketing activities and strategies.

You Should Have: 

  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience 

  • Experience in the technology industry with a solid understanding of software development lifecycle  

  • Clear understanding of the relationship between sales and marketing throughout the buyers’ journey  

  • Knowledge and experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Social Media platforms like LinkedIn 

  • Experience in B2B marketing 

  • Experience designing and executing successful ABM Programs 

  • Experience connecting teams to organize efforts toward optimizing website design for lead generation 

  • Experience building automated email marketing and drip campaigns 

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (preferably HubSpot ecosystem) 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 

  • ROI supported approach to marketing 


  • Create and execute an inbound and outbound marketing strategy to drive high-quality lead generation, focused in the Kansas City and Midwest markets. 

  • Create and execute a marketing content strategy to showcase Artisan’s positioning and thought leadership as a digital consultancy. This will include championing efforts to redesign Artisan’s website.  

  • Create and execute outbound marketing campaigns to drive top of funnel growth. 

  • Work closely with the Sales team to design and execute an ABM strategy for key targets and accounts. 

  • Bolster marketing materials to support the sales and client success teams. 

  • Create marketing email drip campaigns for various lines of business. 

  • Manage SEO and online presence, which includes website and social media accounts.  

  • Support Sales and Client Success team with pitch presentations and other content. 

  • Analyze, measure and report on the impact of marketing activities on the overall sales pipeline.
