Reporting to the assigned Creative Director, this role is a vital part of the Creative Studio. The UI/UX Designer is focused on creating design with the users interaction, usability, and function of experience in mind. This position is enthusiastic, talented and thrives in working in a highly collaborative environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:

  • Leads technology and digital design projects
  • Creates user experience design
  • Creates conceptual design, design detailing, branding packages
  • Maintains strong range of graphic design aesthetics and flexible design styles
  • Stays up to date with popular culture, technology trends, and industry news
  • Conducts market research and user testing with a wide range of prototype fidelity.
  • Supports and contributes to the project teams executed design solution and deliverables on assigned projects
  • Executes and delivers project-based solutions with speed and quality, while incorporating and maintaining project leaderships direction and feedback
  • Contributes to client presentations and communications as assigned
  • Understands project deadlines and milestones and has great time management to meet deadlines
  • Creates UI Style Guides and assets based on brand guidelines
  • Implements usability testing to understand user behavior and motivations
  • Interfaces directly with internal departments to learn and understand potential solutions
  • Exudes a Go where needed attitude and outline on role
  • Provides quality control of design documents
  • Displays initiative in everyday tasks as well as the development of personal and studio goals


  • Ability to learn new skills and software quickly
  • Ability to take direction and constructive critique well

  • Demonstrates progress in quality and design solution techniques
  • Independent thinking/solutions and autonomy
  • Possess an interest in material and fabrication methods for digital hardware enclosures
  • Comfortable with aggressive timelines and ability to multi-task with multi-project oriented with the ability to change gears quickly
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: XD (or alternative), Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Advanced understanding of UX, UI, IXD and Motion Design
  • Responsible for design tasks, designing user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and storyboards.
  • Possess an Interest in Touch Designer, Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Knowledge of Google Sketchup, After Effects, and/or 3D modeling is a plus
  • Strong storyboarding skills preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the design process including concept generation, creative solutions, messaging, typography, color, and specifications
  • High energy level, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail, including analytical problem-solving skills


  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Graphic Design or other related field preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant graphic and/or UI/UX design experience
